I recently found out that in Kansas, the match-up between rival teams of K-State and KU,
is called: "farmagedon". Oddly enough I discovered this when talking with a gov't employee
on the phone about health insurance!

PA bests IA in dairy-art work
Thank you once again, NPR for enlightening me:

Penn, specifically the farm show in Harrisburg, boasts an impressive 1000 lb butter sculpture...
outdoing the Iowa state fair!
And what's more...taking recycling/reuse to a new level, the entire 1000 piece dairy-art will now be converted into methane gas which will then be used to power a farm.
I'll omit the part about the pit covered in cow manure...

New butter sculptures
Exciting news... in addition to the plethora of deeply-fried foods, there will be some
new dairy-themed artwork at the state fair.
The feature-butter sculpture this year will be celebrating the iconic Field of Dreams movie.
And because I can't make this stuff up:
"The butter sculptures will feature elements from America's favorite past-time of baseball and the rural Iowa landscape, all in butter"
